Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory, production, and finished goods. You will complete required records and support production with material needs.

Qualifications include a minimum of 9th grade education, and forklift licensing completion. Prior forklift experience is preferred, with basic math and inventory knowledge beneficial. Must be 18+ years old. This position emphasizes safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic math and inventory techniques knowledge preferred.
• Forklift Driver licensing process must be completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations.
• Band, wrap, pack, and label finished goods.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Maintain organized inventory yard.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policy.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
