Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Forklift Operator for a Monday–Friday shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM in Walton, KY. You will load/unload, sort, and transport products within a busy warehouse, using RF devices and a warehouse management system. Strong safety adherence and teamwork are essential.

Requirements include at least 1 year forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, in line with safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transport to designated area.
• Check inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners and comply with the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff and keep the facility tidy.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision.
