The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is currently seeking skilled and reliable Forklift Operators to join our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservists Cadre Team. In this role, you will support emergency operations by safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment to load, unload, and move supplies. This is a critical position that ensures the timely delivery and management of essential resources during disaster response efforts.
Disaster Response Locations in Louisiana
These areseasonal positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or more, depending on the disaster response needs. Ideal candidates for these missions will be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification.
AHigh school diploma or equivalent required. A valid forklift operator certification is required. Prior experience operating forklifts in logistics, warehouse, or emergency response settings is required. The ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and high-pressure scenarios, is preferred.Flexibilityto work irregular hours—such as nights, weekends, and holidays—is essential,particularly during emergency deployments. The position also requires theability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
