Job summary

Acme Brick Company, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Forklift Operator to load and unload products and support operations at our brick yard and warehouse. The role requires safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold forklift certification, be able to identify materials quickly, and lift 25–50 pounds regularly while performing cycle counts and basic maintenance tasks.

Summary

We are currently seeking a “best in class” Forklift Operator to load and unload products to/from delivery. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication and customer service. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned). This is a safety sensitive position*

• Operate forklift to move material and product while following all company Safety & Security policies and procedures
• Perform cycle counts
• Provide customer assistance
• Maintain the brick yard and warehouse
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs
