Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Basic computer and handheld scanner skills.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Transport pallets from receiving docks or reserve storage locations to designated areas within the temperature-controlled warehouse.
• Put away, retrieve, rotate, and replenish inventory stored in warehouse reserve racks.
• Use handheld scanning devices and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory movements and replenishment activities.
• Pull products from inventory and deliver them to production lines as needed.
• Move finished products from production areas to designated storage locations.
• Retrieve finished products from storage and load them onto outbound trailers.
• Unload inbound products and materials from trailers.
• Stack, organize, and rotate merchandise according to inventory management and food safety procedures.
• Utilize warehouse technology and scanning equipment to accurately select, verify, and track products.
• Inspect equipment before operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, operational procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors, cleaning spills, disposing of damaged products, and completing rework activities as required.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
