Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Rydal, GA is seeking a Material Handler to safely operate forklifts and straddle lifts, move large materials, and keep the line stocked so trucks roll on time. You’ll log item numbers, use JDE to track inventory moves, and support production by loading and unloading trucks. Physical tasks include lifting up to 35 lbs, following safety standards, and training new team members.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Comfortable using computers and essential tools.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and labels.
• Familiarity with the JDE system for inventory tracking.
• Ability to train and mentor new team members.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight and confidently move materials.
• Log item numbers for unidentified materials to keep inventory accurate.
• Use JDE to track inventory moves and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Count, sort, and organize parts so everything is where it needs to be.
• Support the flow by loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Read and follow written orders, specs, and hazardous material warnings.
