Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Janesville, WI Distribution Center is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, moving raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You'll operate forklifts and other equipment across three shifts, participate in cycle counts, inspections, and loading/unloading, with a $2 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial vehicles.
• Experience using computers for inventory transactions and data entry.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, schedules, and work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Complete required equipment inspections and maintain forklift certification.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers while following established safety and quality standards.
• Inspect incoming materials and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Stage, deliver, and return raw materials to support production schedules and operational needs.
• Utilize inventory management systems to accurately track material movements, inventory transactions, and storage locations.
