Job summary

Silk Road Technologies Canada is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to handle loading and unloading, verify shipments, and support inventory control in a fast-paced plant environment. You will operate weigh scales and hand scanners, perform cycle counts, maintain organized storage, and follow all safety protocols.

Forklift and crane licensing may be required. This role emphasizes teamwork, proactive communication, and adherence to production schedules to ensure timely, accurate material

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, document all incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Plan, prepare, assemble & verify shipments for sub-contractors and customers.
• Unload incoming parts, place in designated areas & FIFO material.
• For aluminum material, FIFO and document aging; may include weekly inventories.
• Reload empty containers; may include RMA material.
• Move material to designated areas as required.
• Communicate shortages to Dock Coordinator, Team Lead, Supervisor & Material Analyst.
• Assist/conduct cycle counting and physical inventories.
• Maintain neat organization of Finished Goods, Purchased parts and WIP storage areas.
• Housekeeping and safe work environment.
• Participate in environmental efforts and continuous improvement.
• Follow all Plant & Dock Safety protocols.
• Any other activities as required by the Dock Coordinator or Manager.
