Job summary

Responsibilities include operating pole, reach, or sheet trucks, loading/unloading, recording production data, and performing pre-shift inspections. Candidates with a high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred; 6+ months of forklift experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lift Truck Certification preferred.
• 6+ months of forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operates pole, reach, or sheet trucks and transports materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Operates lifting devices, such as forklifts, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
• Records weight and production data as required.
• Performs a pre-shift daily inspection on the lift truck.
• Attends job-related training and follows safety procedures.
• Performs housekeeping duties and other tasks assigned by management.
