Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to operate a sit-down forklift and move finished goods accurately within the warehouse. You will follow RF instructions, stock packaging areas, and support loading operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic computer use, ability to perform simple math, and dependable teamwork. Physical lifting up to 40 pounds is expected, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience preferred.
• On-the-job and health and environmental safety training completed.
• Must be an effective team member.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Regular lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to move materials between packaging, loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Follow RF unit instructions and safety rules.
• Ensure packing lines and machines are stocked with supplies.
• Place empty pallets in location and attach bar codes.
• Assist in unloading shuttles and loading trucks.
• Pull pallets of flooring from warehouse to docks.
• Coordinate with office for trailers and loading needs.
• Load trailers safely with proper loading techniques.
• Inspect pallets for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain housekeeping in the outfeed area.
• Attend job-related training and follow SOPs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
