Job summary

UFP Woodburn, LLC in Woodburn, Oregon seeks a Forklift Operator II to load and unload trucks and rail cars, maintaining accurate shipping/receiving records under supervision.

You will move material between storage and work areas, break down packs, label products, and perform routine equipment maintenance while following company policies. Compliance with forklift licensing and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th-grade basic education.
• High school diploma GED preferred but not required.
• Prefers 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a forklift or operating similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred
• Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars.

• Provides general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Completes preshift startup equipment checklist and reports any problems or concerns.

• Empty trash and wood hoppers.
• Follows forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as required.
