Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and store products in a fast-paced distribution environment in Goodyear, AZ. You will use lift equipment to handle pallets, scan products, print labels, and complete inventory paperwork.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, rotation procedures, and daily safety inspections. Minimum two years forklift experience and a valid license are required; background and drug screens will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain license.
• Pass background and drug screen.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tasks.
• Attention to detail and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas and print labels.
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels; complete paperwork.
• Maintain rotation procedures and perform cycle counts as required.
• Conduct daily safety inspections per forklift Safety Checklist.
• Report incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Use equipment to scan product and print labels.Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.Complete cycle count as requiredPerform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucksEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.May perform housekeeping dutiesMiscellaneous tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMinimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
