Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely handle Powered Industrial Equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will load, unload, and stack goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety standards.

As part of our team, you will perform daily forklift inspections, participate in cycle counts, and help ensure efficient shipping and receiving operations. A valid forklift license and two years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Forklift operator with at least 2 years of experience and licensing readiness.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and labeling tasks.
  • Attention to detail and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products.
  • Assist with shipping/receiving, scanning, labeling, and inventory updates.
  • Perform daily safety inspections and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
  • Complete paperwork and cycle counts as needed; report incidents promptly.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Use equipment to scan product and print labels.Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.Complete cycle count as requiredPerform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucksEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.May perform housekeeping dutiesMiscellaneous tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMinimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
