Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and pallets to designated locations.
• Transport pallets between storage locations and trailers for shipping.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Wrap, band, and prepare hard surface materials for shipment.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Inspect and repair damaged packaging; manage dock movements as needed.
• Raise and lower dock plate for material transfer.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Tobuild custom orders to fulfill order requests.Positionalsoresponsible for the transport of merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping.

Essential Functions

• Receiving a pull task with information on thehard surfacematerial to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork asrequired.
• Wrap and bandhard surfacematerials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager

This position islocatedand works out of Elgin, IL.

$23.43 Per Hour

Mon-Fri: 7:00 am start time (subject to change)

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
