Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, up to 6 months of forklift experience, and the ability to pass NFI forklift certification. Basic math, Excel, and strong attention to detail are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Up to 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Effective customer service and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operates forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
  • Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas.
  • Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage.
  • Performs order picking and prepares products for shipment.
  • Verifies correct quantity and product type for loading.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy and documents activities.
  • Assists with physical inventory counts as directed.
  • Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
  • Reports safety concerns or incidents promptly.
