Berlin Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator I to prep shipments, load/unload products, and support general warehouse operations using standard equipment. You will operate forklifts and carts, organize orders with accuracy, and ensure safety standards while maintaining clean, compliant warehouses.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. CA base pay applies with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Prior warehouse and forklift operator experience strongly preferred.
• Must pass Berlin’s forklift certification program per safety guidelines.
• Ability to complete tasks with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrate work ethic, reliability and initiative.
• Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack, and/or other equipment in a professional and safe manner.
• Organize and prepare customer orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
• Transfer supplies between departments to meet production or shipping demand.
• Properly store and label all materials and finished product.
• May prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders.
• May record transactions via computer in ERP system.
• Perform cycle counting as required.
• Notify leadership of non-compliant warehousing issues.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized to cGMP standards.
• Comply with ISO standards.
• Support company and branch metrics.
