Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to transfer goods and materials within our El Paso facility. You will operate gasoline or electric forklifts to pick up, deliver, and move items, using standard lifting devices and other material handling equipment.

The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 10 pm (Saturday optional). Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 years of experience, and a forklift certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of experience; 0–1 years preferred.
• Forklift Certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered forklift to pick up, deliver or move materials around the warehouse location.
• Operate standard lifting devices and other basic material handling equipment.
• Operate machinery to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
• Loads, unloads and stacks materials onto lifting device, weighs material or products and records on production schedules.
• Perform safety checks on lifts.
• Follow instructions, either independently or as part of a team.
• Comply with all company policies and legal guidelines.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
