Capital Lumber Company in Sacramento is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for the Day shift in our Sacramento Branch, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role operates a forklift to lift, load, or move material, with a focus on safe, efficient handling.

Starting pay is $21 per hour, with benefits including PTO, holidays, health coverage, and retirement plans. The position requires 1–4 years forklift experience and a valid forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years experience operating forklifts and related machinery.
• Forklift certification required.
• Knowledge of lumber products preferred.
• Ability to read/speak English to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to lift, load, and move materials.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair forklift equipment as needed.
• Follow schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. start.
