Job summary

Musco Family Olive Co. in Tracy, CA seeks a Full Time Production Hourly worker to operate a liquefied gas truck, load and unload materials, and move pallets within the plant and yard.

You will supply depalletizers with pallets, assist operators, follow GMP and safety rules, and be available for overtime or weekend shifts. A forklift certificate and basic math skills are required. Maintain a clean work area and report safety and quality concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Forklift driving certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supply depalletizers with pallets of product needed for production.
• Remove plastic from pallets.
• Scan pallets out of system.
• Cut vinyl straps on the pallets.
• Take empty pallets from production lines to designated area.
• High stack pallets and bins.
• Take out the dented cans when recycle bin is full.
• Assist operators in clearing jams as they occur.
• Prepare related reports.
• Prepare daily safety list, and fill liquefied gas tank.
• Maintain work area in clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• Meet productivity and efficiency standards as outlined by management.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations; identify and communicate safety hazards.

Summary

Drive liquefied gas truck equipped with lifting devices. Load, unload, move materials and pallets within the plant and

yard by performing the following duties.

• 1. Supply depalletizers with pallets of product needed for production.
• 3. Remove plastic from pallets.
• 4. Scan pallets out of system.
• 5. Cut vinyl straps on the pallets.
• 6. Remove wood frames from lines to designated area.
• 7. Take empty pallets from production lines to designated area.
• 8. High stack pallets and bins.
• 9. Take out the dented cans when recycle bin is full.
• 10. Assist operators in clearing jams as they occur.
• 11. Prepare related reports
• 12. Prepare daily safety list, and fill liquefied gas tank.
• 14. Maintain work area in clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• 15. Meet all productivity and efficiency standards as outlined by management.
• 16. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including active participation in the prompt identification and communication
• of safety hazards.
• 17. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• 18. Must be available to work overtime as needed, with or without advance notice.
• 19. Must be able to work any shift and weekends as necessary.
• 20. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• 21. Immediately report all food safety and food quality problems to your supervisor.
