Job summary

Capital Sacramento is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to load, unload, and move lumber products in our distribution yard. You will inspect equipment daily, follow safety rules, and work Monday through Friday starting at 7am.

Candidates should have 1–4 years forklift experience, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. English proficiency and reliability are essential to join Capital Sacramento's team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years previous experience with forklifts and other machinery.
• Must have Forklift Certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Reads orders to determine product and notes special instructions.
• Accurately pulls delivery orders and stages for loading.
• Loads product on trailers for delivery and unloads as directed.
• Notifies Supervisor of unsafe loads or overload risks.
• Performs daily forklift inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Bands lumber for storage and assists in inventory/cycle counts.
• Keeps lanes and areas clean and clear for traffic.
