Job summary

Quantix SCS, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, load, and unload shipments in a fast-paced, team-oriented Baytown warehouse environment.

You will perform material preparation, inspect loads for damage, follow safety procedures, conduct daily equipment checks, and support inventory accuracy while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds and working at heights or in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare material for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to load counts.
• Verify load accuracy, inspect for product damage, and report discrepancies as necessary.
• Manually stack 55-pound bags following customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all work instructions, safety procedures, and workplace policies.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately.
• Perform LP tank changes as needed, monitoring power sources for equipment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Communicate concerns or issues promptly to warehouse leads or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
