Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Material Handler at our Willow Springs, IL facility. The role involves mixing and packaging products, managing inventory, and assisting in shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment.

The position requires forklift operation, familiarity with CGMP practices, and the ability to handle hazardous materials with proper protective equipment. Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads and work safely in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift per procedures.
• Knowledge of CGMP requirements as it relates to FDARP for the facility.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
• Willingness to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes with training.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and packages company products and maintains inventory levels.
• Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned.
• Loads and unloads company trucks using forklift and other required equipment.
• Ships and receives products according to procedures.
• Assists in maintenance of the warehouse facility.
• Participates on emergency response teams as needed.
• Places hazardous materials or waste into appropriate containers.
• Receives, unloads, and stores hazardous waste with inspections and paperwork.
• Prepares shipments and loads hazardous waste destined for disposal.
• Cleans and maintains warehouse and equipment.
• Adheres to quality processes and assists in resolving product quality issues.
• Performs other duties and complies with company policies.
