Niagara in Dallas seeks a Forklift Operator to safely load and unload trucks, pull pallets from production lines, and place finished goods in the warehouse under the direction of the WMS system. This role requires precise material handling and adherence to safety standards.

Key duties include operating the sit-down forklift, moving inventories, coordinating with production schedules, documenting movements, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to load/unload trucks and move pallets.
• Pull pallets from production lines and place finished goods in warehouse.
• Plan material requirements by studying production schedules and coordinating deliveries.
• Retrieve supplies by verifying specifications and securing pallets for transport.
• Maintain inventory in production area and report discrepancies.
• Document movements of supplies, materials and finished goods.
• Ensure safety by following standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor breakdowns on equipment.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance as required.
