Job summary

TICO (Terminal Investment Corporation) is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Ridgeland, SC manufacturing plant. You will safely operate forklifts to move materials, support production schedules, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, loading/unloading, and aiding continuous improvement efforts while adhering to safety protocols. A high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing are preferred, with forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in manufacturing.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to perform basic math and calculations.
• Familiarity with inventory software and order processing systems.
• Commitment to a flexible schedule and punctuality.
• Knowledge of warehousing procedures and Lean/continuous improvement practices.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and issue production materials to meet schedules.
• Move materials using forklift and manually as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical counts.
• Review documents to determine material requirements and priorities.
• Requisition and prepare inventories to meet production demands.
• Record production data and material consumption.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and containers.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
