Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Operator to safely operate forklifts and support manufacturing operations. The role ensures materials are loaded, unloaded, and moved efficiently while maintaining a stocked and organized work area.

Responsibilities include moving materials, supporting production lines, following OSHA safety standards, and conducting basic equipment checks. Candidates should have forklift experience and be able to obtain certification on hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift operation experience preferred.
• Able to obtain forklift certification upon hire.
• Strong understanding of safe material handling procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and material specifications accurately.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles to move materials between stations, storage areas, and loading docks.
• Load and unload materials to support production operations with accurate placement.
• Supply workstations with necessary materials and remove finished goods to storage areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations, including PPE usage and forklift safety standards.
• Maintain records of material movements and communicate discrepancies or damages.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and handling equipment.
