Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator in Oregon to safely operate the forklift in a fast-paced production setting, move lumber, and tally units while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Qualifications

• 1 year forklift experience with 18,000 lb+ capacity.
• Knowledge of lumber species and widths/lengths.
• Knowledge of Oregon Operating Rules for Industrial Trucks.
• Recent related work history and verifiable references.
• Applicants must be at least 12 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift while keeping pace with production.
• Move lumber from yard and stack units by width and length.
• Accurately tally units.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and routine maintenance on forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaboratively work with other forklift drivers for proper placement and organization of lumber.
• Work is fast-paced and can be demanding.
• Overtime during busy production times.
