Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator I for its Santa Teresa, NM facility. The role focuses on safe operation of sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to receive, store, and fulfill orders while upholding product safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, pallet building, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and adherence to OSHA safety rules. Prior experience with powered material handling equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment (electric pallet jack and stand-up/sit-down forklift).
• Must meet PPE requirements.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload pallets and cases from trucks or conveyors.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stack materials.
• Sort and build pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets using machinery.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate storage locations and conduct cycle counts.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and other duties as assigned.
