Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. in Tonawanda, NY is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our fast-growing team. This role requires handling forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, loading/unloading trucks, and supporting general warehouse tasks at our Tonawanda processing plant.

You will work on 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with starting pay of $28/hr plus benefits. A strong safety mindset and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of forklift experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Must maintain a drug free lifestyle (BBD complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act)

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
• Assist laborers with general maintenance tasks including scraping/cleaning equipment, emptying vats, and hand scraping dumpsters.
• Move supplies throughout facility.
• Assist with organizing materials, general warehouse duties, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Other duties as assigned
