Job summary

Pratt Industries in Wichita, KS is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload shipments, move materials through the warehouse, and prepare goods for transport. You will operate powered industrial trucks safely and keep accurate records while complying with company policies.

The role requires 3+ years forklift experience, strong safety discipline, and the ability to read production sheets. You must read and follow instructions, work extended hours when needed, and perform basic maintenance

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check, drug screen, physical, Caetus Aptitude testing.
• At least 3 years of forklift experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age and willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound shipments.
• Move merchandize to storage locations.
• Build, pick, and pack pallets.
• Perform quality checks on inbound goods.
• Carry out simple maintenance on the forklift (recharging battery, refueling).
• Identify and report mechanical and electrical faults to supervisors/technicians.
• Pack goods in the area/warehouse by hand when needed.
• Follow all company safety guidelines.
