Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Warehouse Operator II for our Islip, NY facility. You will move, organize, and track materials in the warehouse, operate forklifts, and support shipping/receiving to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

The role requires forklift experience, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shift is Mon-Fri 3:00-11:30pm with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Able to lift upto 50lbs and move throughout your shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.

This role operates on the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday-Friday 3:00-11:30pm.

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:
To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Operator II,you’llplay a key role in moving, organizing, and tracking materials throughout the warehouse.You’lloperateforklifts and other equipment, support shipping and receiving, and helpmaintainaccurateinventory.You’llalso perform tasks from the Warehouse Operator I role as needed. Your reliability and attention to detail help us deliver the products people love — safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely

Load and unload trucks, verifying shipments against documentation

Perform cycle counts and update inventory systems

Organize and label warehouse storage areas

Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment

Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs

Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks andmaintainworkflow

Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies

Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED preferred

1+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations

Ability to obtain forklift certification

Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment

Able to lift upto 50lbsand move throughout your shift

Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens

Flexible to work overtime based on business needs

SKILLS:

Comfortable using computers, tablets, and inventory systems

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Able to read, write, and understand English

Strong organization and time management

Team-oriented and dependable

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.14. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
