Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Forklift Operator for their China Grove, NC service center. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM, starting at $23.51 per hour. The job involves moving freight on a non-climate-controlled dock. Qualified applicants read manifests, operate a forklift, and handle computer displays.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our China Grove, NC service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment

Preferred

• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
