Job summary

Adecco in Austin, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. You will operate powered industrial vehicles, manage inventory with RF scanners, and support daily logistics with safety and accuracy.

The role offers competitive pay ($22.00–$27.60/hr) and 12-hour and 8–10 hour shifts with potential overtime, on-site in Austin. Emphasis on teamwork and safety; opportunities to grow skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years forklift operating experience.
• PIV operator certification(including forklifts, wire-guided trucks, and order pickers).
• Proficient in using RF scanning devices.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse duties while standing/walking/carrying/reaching/pushing/pulling forapproximately 80%–95% of the shift
• Ability tolift upto 35 lbs. independently and up to 75 lbs. with teamassistance
• Ability to safely work at heights up to 30 feet
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safelyoperateforklifts, wire-guided trucks, and order pickers to move, store, and stage materials for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Utilize RF scanners and handheld devices to process and track inventory,maintainingdetailed andaccuraterecords.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate equipment at heights up to 30 feet, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting overall warehouse operations.
• Assistwith general warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
