Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Alabama to support our warehouse operations. You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, load/unload trailers, and maintain a clean, efficient work area as part of a team dedicated to process excellence.

The role requires certification for safe lift-truck operation, a willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, and at least a high school diploma with prior warehouse experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Must be trained and certified in safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
Display a commitment to process excellence.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
