Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Forklift Operator to work onsite in Walton, KY. The role involves operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, and organize materials in a fast-paced warehouse, supporting inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.

You will work closely with a team to meet production goals, while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, staging, picking, and tracking materials, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and effectively.
• Experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or similar setting.
• Hands-on material handling including loading, unloading, and staging.
• Basic inventory handling such as picking and placing materials accurately.
• Strong communication to coordinate with team and follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet goals.
• Commitment to safety guidelines and equipment operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks safely to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas with proper handling.
• Stage, organize, and relocate products to designated locations.
• Support inventory activities by accurately picking, placing, and tracking materials.
• Assist with order picking and preparation to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
