Job summary

Loeb Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Columbus, OH team. You will receive, inspect, and stock materials, process purchase orders in the system, and prepare orders for shipment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in warehouse settings, experience with RF scanners, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with teammates. The role supports our distribution operations on a fast-paced warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse and distribution experience including use of commercial or industrial equipment.
• Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners.
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
• Able to work well and coordinate with others.
• Ability to read, write and exhibit strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses with accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
• Prepare a receiving report if none is available.
• Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items and report discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Stock products and materials on shelves, racks or other designated storage areas.
• Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the system and print back order and stock put away lists.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers.
• Prepare shipping documentation.
• Review all orders to determine if items were picked correctly.
