Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience required.
• Clamp attachment operation experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required).
• Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
• Must be certified in Lockout/Tagout and Forklift Operation upon assignment.

Aufgaben

• Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas, including forklift and clamp truck.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards.
• Stock all goods in a safe and stable manner.
• Communicate pertinent information to relief at shift change.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner; knowledge of 6S is a plus.
• Know locations of and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers.
• Complete forklift checklist.
• Monitor and record all products returned or received.
• Check accuracy of finished product count on pallets, verify product ID, ensure pallets have only one Port Ticket when removed from lines, and accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Fill forklift propane tank at end of shift.
• Perform accurate cycle counts as designated by Team Leaders.
• Effectively organize and stage materials to support inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures is a plus.
