Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move raw materials and finished goods within the plant and warehouse. You will operate a sit-down forklift for long shifts, use the SAP system to tag products, and prepare pallets with accurate production tickets.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, forklift certification, and 2 years of forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Forklift certification and prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2 years of forklift experience required; sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to recognize numbers/values and enter data accurately; strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift for loading/unloading materials for up to a 12-hour period.
• Supply raw materials to production as needed and stage finished goods.
• Use SAP to tag finished product and track material needs.
• Maintain neat, organized warehouse and assist with safety/compliance duties.
• Adapt to different shifts and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
