Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator to move stock within our warehouse, loading and unloading shipments and utilizing stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory checks, equipment maintenance, and daily inspections. Prior forklift certification and warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Six months warehouse experience preferred
• Six months forklift operation experiencepreferred

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or power equipment (80% of shift)
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact counts/types
• Keep records for inventory accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy; report variances as needed
• Change equipment battery/LP tank and monitor power source
• Maintain equipment and materials in neat, clean, orderly condition
• Assist in physical inventories
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
