Job summary

The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and ensure accurate accounting of all items entering and leaving the facility. You will work with production to provide materials for daily operations and maintain organized storage.

Starting pay is $21.65/hour with a potential $1/hr increase after 6 months of good standing. Overtime potential exists. Total rewards include a 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off, and a $500 referral bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified forklift operator - Stand-up Reach Truck required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for an entire shift.
• Exposure to food production and warehouse environments with noise and temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Move materials for daily production in coordination with the plant.
• Select products from inventory and packaging using correct materials.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Prepare orders for pickup and load freight orders.
• Document receipts of incoming materials and verify packing slips.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and timelines with operations.
