Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Forklift Operator to move freight from staging to storage, replenish pick slots, and maintain warehouse accuracy and safety. The role requires operating a forklift in a multi-temperature environment and adhering to GMP-like standards to ensure efficient flow of products.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 4:00 AM start and requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work with forklift experience.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Must be able to work scheduled times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment (forklift).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Transports incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front and removes outdated inventory.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Removes empty pallets and ensures safety and cleanliness of the work area.
