Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in the United States is seeking a Forklift Operator responsible for moving, storing and shipping merchandise safely and efficiently. This full-time role requires 6 months of experience in a logistics environment, the ability to operate MHE, forklift certification, and comfort working in varying warehouse temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Input data accurately into WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring exact number and type of product are loaded and shipped.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
• Move products from staging to production lines and/or docks with proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and follow SOPs and site policies.
• Perform routine forklift and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Work overtime as dictated by business needs.
