Day Shift Hours: Typically from 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Night Shift Forklift Operator for our Lakeland, FL (Knights Station, Retail) facility. After 60-90 days, eligible employees may be considered for full-time employment. The Forklift Operator will execute projects and tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager, supporting warehouse operations.

The Royal Group’s mission is to provide value-added solutions to demanding customers.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Follow directions from the floor lead or Supervisor, adhering to proper procedures.
2. Safely move goods packed on pallets within the storage facility.
3. Stack goods properly to prevent damage and report any product damage.
4. Perform daily equipment checks to ensure forklift safety and functionality.
5. Scan all materials to their correct locations.
6. Follow all safety rules and procedures.

Skills & Abilities Required:

1. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence in English.
2. Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
3. Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
4. Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables in standard situations.
5. Ability to write simple correspondence.
6. Dependable, energetic, and motivated team player.
7. Professional demeanor and positive interaction with teammates.
8. Willingness to work effectively in a team environment and handle various tasks.
9. Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
10. At least one year of forklift experience with valid certification.
11. Ability to read and write in English.
12. Flexibility to work early shifts or stay late as needed.
13. Experience with corrugated products is a plus but not required.
14. High school diploma or GED.
