Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a safety-focused forklift driver to operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution center in New Jersey. You will move and store inventory, use RF scanners and WMS to process transactions, and support receiving, shipping, and cycle counting.

The role requires a high school diploma and forklift experience or certification. You will work Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse, logistics, or 3PL experience preferred.
• Previous forklift/material handling equipment experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, WMS, and inventory systems.
• Ability to follow work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and safely lift/move materials as required.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, store, and stage products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to process inventory and shipment transactions.
• Perform equipment inspections and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
• Support receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and inventory control activities.
• Maintain clean work areas and meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance standards.
