Job summary

JobSquad is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our North Wilkesboro, NC warehouse team. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to load/unload materials, pick orders, and organize inventory, while performing general warehouse duties to support logistics.

Candidates should have 2+ years of warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification, and a proven forklift operating background in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse experience required.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring products are properly staged and secured.
• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouse.
• Responsible for stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Stacks empty pallets in designated areas.
• Performs routine daily maintenance checks on forklifts and reports any issues to maintenance department or Supervisor.
• Works closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure the efficient flow of products through the warehouse.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Assists with various warehouse tasks, including picking/packing orders, wrapping pallets, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Performs other warehouse duties as assigned.
