Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination, plus the ability to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment per safety policies

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily and operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
• Keep records to guarantee inventory control and security; assist in physical inventories.
• Follow customer requirements to ensure accuracy of load counts and product stability.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Observe and enforce safety rules; report unsafe conditions.
• Perform housekeeping and keep a clean work area.
