Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator for the first shift in our California warehouse. The role involves moving stock, loading and unloading shipments, and operating stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts 80% of shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact counts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy records.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy and report variances.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank as needed.
• Keep equipment and facility neat and orderly.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
