Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Forklift Driver (or Forklift Team Lead) to move materials, support production lines, and uphold food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Benefits include Health and Vision Insurance, 401K, 401K Matching, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Written and verbal instructions in English must be understood.
• Maintain strong safety awareness.
• Follow GMPs, SSOPs, safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products.
• Load, unload, stack and organize pallets in warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
