Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Forklift Operator to support the Shipping team and collaborate with Receiving and Production. The 8-hour shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Overtime is voluntary. Starting pay is $21–$23 per hour, with potential for a higher rate based on experience.

Benefits begin the first of the month after start date, including 80 hours of vacation and 11 paid holidays. A retention bonus and advancement opportunities are available in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience with attachments like box clamp, roll clamp, slip sheet/grabber
• Ability to learn and use new software (e.g., SAP) and operate computers/tablets
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed

Responsabilités

• Support shipping and receiving in completing daily schedules for inbound and outbound freight
• Maintain the warehouse and perform housekeeping; ensure SQF audit readiness
• Promote the facility PBM philosophy to employees and customers
• Operate mobile equipment (forklift) with attachments to move materials
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mobile equipment
• Comply with SQF standards, including dress code (remove jewelry)
