Job summary

Vistar in Arlington, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will operate stand-up forklifts, move pallets, stock items, and assist in multi-temperature environments while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ years of warehouse experience, stand-up forklift proficiency, and the ability to work scheduled hours with overtime. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• 1+ years of stand-up forklift experience.
• Must be able to operate stand-up forklift.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer and dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift to move pallets and stock items.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and keep work area clean.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and report unsafe conditions.
