Job summary

Champion Home Builder, Inc in Leesville, LA is seeking a Fork Lift Operator to load, unload, and move materials around the plant and yard. You will follow work orders, operate power hoists, and ensure safety and efficiency.

This non-exempt role requires a valid forklift certification and attention to detail. Prior manufacturing experience preferred; a Tow Motor License may be required on site.

Qualifications

• Must have current Fork Lift Certification.
• Experience as Fork Lift Operator preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
• Loads/unloads materials onto/off pallets, trays, racks, shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and straps/braces/pads to prevent shifting or damage.
• Conveys materials from storage/work sites to designated area to assist production.
• Attaches tags/labels to materials and records units moved.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist.
